Insurance Coordinator

We are in search of an Insurance Coordinator with medical & dental insurance experience. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Call and verify benefits prior to new patient exam

  • Enter new carrier information

  • Submit all insurance claims daily

  • Post insurance payments daily

  • Adjust insurance balance/contract spread after IP

  • Run monthly past due report

  • Run credit balance report monthly and transfer funds when needed

  • Take insurance calls and assist patients with questions

  • Submit any claim forms that are necessary

  • Send explanation of benefits to new carrier when necessary

  • Transfer unpaid insurances to patient/parents ledger

  • Communicate with patient/parents and adjust ledger if necessary

  • Assist with financial consultations when needed

  • Scan all documents into the patient's chart

  • Greet patients and parents anytime during the day

  • Maintain a professional image and dress according to the daily uniform

  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with doctors, manager and staff
